Job description
- Design and develop performance test scripts using tools such as Apache JMeter (preferred) or k6.
- Execute various types of performance testing, including Load, Stress, Volume, Endurance, and Availability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review non-functional requirements (NFRs) and define the scope of performance testing.
- Analyze results, identify performance bottlenecks, and work with development or infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
- Prepare detailed test reports highlighting findings, key metrics (TPS, response times, error rates, etc.).
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year in performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
- Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Ability to interpret system metrics and logs to troubleshoot performance and resource issues.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of database performance and SQL tuning.
