Job description
Design and develop performance test scripts using tools such as Apache JMeter (preferred) or k6.
Execute various types of performance testing, including Load, Stress, Volume, Endurance, and Availability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to review non-functional requirements (NFRs) and define the scope of performance testing.
Analyze results, identify performance bottlenecks, and work with development or infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
Prepare detailed test reports highlighting findings, key metrics (TPS, response times, error rates, etc.).
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1 year in performance testing.
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools.
Ability to interpret system metrics and logs to troubleshoot performance and resource issues.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Nice to Have:
Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
Understanding of database performance and SQL tuning.
